Where does the Macy Midwest Regional Conference on Innovations in GME take place?

The Conference takes place at the University of Michigan located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Monday’s sessions will take place in the Michigan League during the day and the A. Alfred Taubmann Biomedical Science Research Building’s Omen Atrium in the evening. Tuesday’s session will take place in the Michigan League Ballroom.

When does the Macy Midwest Regional Conference on Innovations in GME take place?

The conference will begin with registration/continental breakfast at 7:15 a.m. on Monday, May 23rd, and the final session will wrap up by 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 24th, 2016.

What types of sessions can I expect?

Content at the Macy Midwest Regional Conference on Innovations in GME will be frequently interactive, and as inspiring and practical as possible. The agenda will be punctuated with opportunities for informal connections to be made between participants.

For those presenting posters on the evening of May 23, what are the poster specifications?

Poster board dimensions are 4’ high x 6’ wide. We recommend that posters be at least 3’ high x 4’ wide. A smaller size should be considered if you would like to tack handouts or other information to the board (please let us know if this is the case) as there won’t be tables available for handouts. Recommended finished poster size is 42” x 60.”

What if I have dietary restrictions?

All food at the conference is served buffet style. At every meal, vegetarian and vegan options will be provided. If you have dietary restrictions beyond those listed, please note them accordingly on your registration form in the space provided.

What should I wear to the conference?

Business casual attire.

What does the registration fee cover?

The registration fee covers access to sessions and all refreshment breaks: breakfast, lunch, and heavy hors d'oeuvres on Monday evening.

What is the registration cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your registration once you have paid in full, please notify us in writing at giselled@umich.edu. Refunds will be processed within two weeks of receiving written notification. A $30 service fee per registration will be deducted from your refund. Unfortunately, we will not be able to process any refunds after 11:59PM on Friday, April 22nd.
